Persian Cat Champion Maximillian is a male Cream Point Persian Himalayan Cat. CH Maxi was born to a litter of five kittens. When I first went to visit Maxi and his litter, there was another cream point male baby kitten. Maxi was only two weeks old and barely had his eyes open. His brother on the other hand, had his eyes open already and was walking already. Maxi was just scooting on the ground. The picture of this is at the bottom of this page. I was undecided who to pick. Maxi did cuddle better with me though. Two weeks later, I went to see Maxi and his litter. I had had foot surgery, and had only a sock on. Maxi came up to me and settled up right next to my foot, and played with my hand that had my keys. This was going on while his littermates were running around like little Indians. Maxi stayed with me my whole visit, so it turned out that Maxi picked me!!! Ever since, Maxi has been the Kitten Love of My Life! He is so precious. He is with me no matter what I do. He cuddles with me every night. When I try to fix something around the house, Maxi is right along side me. In the yard when I’m pulling weeds, Maxi is right next to me. He likes to eat whatever I’m eating too. It’s so cute. He will meow and look sweetly up at me so I let him have a taste of what I’m eating. Maxi is always at the door to great me when I come home. It wasn’t until Maxi was two years old that I decided I wanted another Maxi. I called his breeder, and she told me she retired Maxi’s mother. I was devastated. I went on a search to find another kitten like Maxi. I was shocked at what I ran across. Kittens in Cages! so sad. Then the idea of breeding him hit me. I called different ads and found a lady who had adopted out a female, and knew she had wanted another kitten so we were going to breed Maxi, and at the time her name was Precious, and we each keep a kitten. Precious stayed with me and she was very antisocial and sick. I had to take her to the Vet and give her Meds. She was with me for two months and didn’t go back into heat. I talked to her owner and she let me adopt Precious and I renamed her Coco. So that was the start of my breeding program. It took about five months before she became pregnant. When she had her kittens,I helped her,and that’s when we bonded and she became a great kitty. At this time I decided I wanted to show Maxi in a CFA Show to Champion him. I was so green. I was determined though. I stumbled my way through it, and had advice from the breeders next to me at the show. I had gotten ribbons, but that’s about it. I didn’t know if Maxi was a Champion or not. My friend was talking to me and he said to look through CFA’s website. I did and I found my way to Herman Online. I entered Maxi’s Pedigree Registration number and the screen said “Congratulations! you have earned a Championship!” I ran and kissed Maxi, actually now officially CH Maxi. I later wen on to Champion his offspring and many others. Since then CH Maxi and Coco have produced many amazing persian kittens. I have studded CH Maxi out to three different Calico Persians and have gotten some amazing results. CH Maxi is still the Love of my Life.
